With Autumn Coming to an End, Here’s 3 Things We Love About Fall

Bye Bye, Fall!

The winter Solstice occurs on December 21st each year, ushering in the cold and preparing us for a new year.  Although we can’t wait for the Holidays, we are sad to see autumn leave.  Here are the top 3 things we love about fall.

1. Changing Leaves: Watching the trees turn yellow and orange is certainly something to behold.  Although in Southern California many of our trees are ever green, spotting the occasional changing leaf is really special.

2. Pumpkin Spice: Autumn is the season of pumpkin spice everything.  It can get a bit overwhelming, but it is oh so delicious.  As winter nears, we say our goodbyes to pumpkin spice and usher in the era of peppermint.

3. Fashion: Fall has the widest range of fashion options of all the months- skirts, tights, pants, sweatshirts, boots, heels.  We dress in light layers to accommodate the ever decreasing temperature, but aren’t hidden behind heavy overcoats.  Clothing bathed in deep jewel tones dominate the fashion scene.

Autumn seems to serve as a sense of calm before the hustle and bustle of the holidays.  Help us say goodbye to Autumn and hello to Winter by posting some of your favorite things about Autumn.  You can also check out a video of some of our fall weddings from this past year:

Of course, Fall in California is full of cooler weather that enables many of us to enjoy more outdoor activities.  Just chilly enough to need a jacket, but without the snow or storms of our friends elsewhere in the country.
